HOW DID LMT ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES GET STARTED?

For over 40 years, Lewis Machine & Tool Company (LMT®), DBA LMT Defense®, has been a pioneer in the firearms industry. They are known for inventing, engineering, and manufacturing premium firearms with a hyper focus on modularity and customization that can be done quickly. LMT focuses on system accuracy, reliability, and products that will exceed the abuse of combat. In 2015, Karl Lewis, President of LMT, wanted to create a separate company dedicated to innovative shooting solutions with the same product focus. In conjunction with these goals and a request from the US Government to participate in a belt-fed machine gun suppressor program, LMT Advanced Technologies (AT) and its initial suppressor, the belt-fed LINK30 were born.

Karl & the AT leadership team invested heavily in developing new technology, buying cutting edge manufacturing equipment, and hiring knowledgeable industry personnel. While the government program is still on-going, the tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition, hundreds of hours testing and evaluating, and a little blood, sweat and tears along the way; the organization was able to create a modular, accurate, full auto rated, low back pressure suppressor product line based around the LINK30 design, called the ION series, built to the same quality, reliability, and rugged durability standards the LMT brand is known for.

HOW AND WHY WE TEST

As noted above, LMT AT got its start in the suppressor space originally for a US government request. Since then, we’ve enjoyed a challenging & rewarding relationship with various domestic and international military, law enforcement, and government agencies orientated around compliance with various precise US military and NATO testing specifications & standards-like the military standard 1474E & AEP-4785 VOL 1 testing protocols used in our testing and quality operations for AT products.

AT then took this military style technology and re-fit, iterated, and further developed the designs to produce optimal products for the commercial operator. To hold ourselves accountable to our high standards, all products are safety and performance tested. Nothing leaves the factory without meeting those standards.

OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

LMT AT promotes a commitment to continual improvement and exceeding quality objectives. That is why we provide a lifetime warranty against all manufacturing defects and damages caused by the normal use of this product and will repair or replace free of charge. If the suppressor is not eligible for repair or replacement, LMT AT allows for purchase of a new suppressor of the same model for 50% off the MSRP value.
